MUST inverters now work with Svitgrid
Svitgrid now works with MUST inverters. The ED-1.1 gateway connects to the inverter's port with a three-wire cable and reads solar, battery, grid and household load. The first station, a MUST PV18-1012 VPM, appeared in the app on 27 October.

LiFePO4 SOC without a BMS link: the inverter was 40–60 points off
One station’s inverter showed 35 % on a nearly full battery. It could not see the BMS, so it guessed the charge from voltage. We stopped trusting that figure. Svitgrid now works out the charge of such a battery itself, and rules, the calendar and alerts run on the right number.
Svitgrid now works with Eveus chargers
An EV charger is the biggest load in a home. Svitgrid now sees Eveus chargers: it shows what the charger draws, sets its current, and pauses charging by rules you set.
Svitgrid now controls the appliances in your home
An inverter can take energy from the battery, the sun or the grid, but it cannot switch off a water heater. Svitgrid now can: through Zigbee plugs and breakers it shows what each appliance uses, and controls them with rules you set.
We measured what monitoring costs to run
An ED-1 Edge Connector and a phone running the mobile harvester did the same job for ten minutes each, behind the same USB meter. The third way in, Home Assistant, is not here — it has no device of its own to measure. 0.25 W against 3.52 W. The electricity turned out to be the least interesting part.
When there is no wireless way in
Deye loggers are closing the local Modbus port, and a Huawei SUN2000 may have no logger at all. The Svitgrid Edge Connector wires into the inverter's own RS-485 terminals and reads it directly.
