Your Eveus charger, working with your station
An EV charger is the biggest load in a home: more than 7 kW at 32 A. Svitgrid sees your Eveus charger next to the inverter and battery, sets its charging current and pauses charging by rules you set.
Eveus Pro, M16 and M32 with Wi-Fi are supported. An inverter is optional.
What Svitgrid does with the charger
Live readings
Power, current, voltage and the energy of the current session. The model, firmware and a history of finished sessions.
Current and pause
A slider from 7 A up to the charger's maximum. Pause or allow charging with one button.
No grid, or solar only
Pause the moment the power goes out and charge again when it returns. Or charge from surplus solar once the home battery reaches your reserve.
What the car used
The charger's energy is counted separately, so you see how much went to the car each month.

Questions
Which Eveus chargers does Svitgrid support?
Eveus Pro, M16 and M32 with Wi-Fi. Chargers on older firmware end a session on their own when the car is full or unplugged: the app can't pause them, but it can set their current.
Do I need an inverter?
No. The charger joins your station on its own. With an inverter, Svitgrid shows it alongside the whole station and can control it by the state of the grid and the battery.
How do I add the charger?
Open Smart devices, add a device and choose the Eveus charger. Your phone finds it on your Wi-Fi network. If the search finds nothing, you can enter its address by hand.
What if the Eveus app controls the charger?
Then Svitgrid shows the readings and offers to take over control. After you switch, remote control from the Eveus app stops working.
Can the car charge from surplus solar only?
Yes. A rule can charge from surplus solar with a battery reserve: the charger draws power only once the home battery is charged to that level.
What talks to the charger?
The same device that collects your station's data: a phone with app 1.0.243 or later, or an ED-1 board on firmware 2.161.1 or later. It must be on the same Wi-Fi network as the charger.
