SolaX inverter monitoring on your own network
Svitgrid reads the SolaX X3-Hybrid G4, a 3-phase hybrid with a high-voltage battery, over Modbus TCP through an RS-485 gateway on your home network. You see your station in the app, with history and forecast. Svitgrid only reads SolaX: it changes none of its settings.

Read-only, on your network
Svitgrid reads the inverter through the RS-485 gateway on your home network, so it does not need the SolaX cloud. It shows what the inverter does and changes none of its settings: you keep setting up the inverter on the inverter itself or in SolaX Cloud.
How SolaX connects
An RS-485 gateway, wired to the inverter, carries its data onto your home network as Modbus TCP. Svitgrid reads the inverter through that gateway.
The gateway's IP address
Svitgrid needs the address of the RS-485 gateway on your network. The app can search your network for it, or you can find the address in your router's list of connected devices.
A fixed address
Reserve the gateway's address in your router settings. Routers hand out addresses on a lease, and a changed address breaks the connection.
Phone on the same Wi-Fi
While your phone is on the home network, the app reads the inverter through the gateway.
