Troubleshooting

Connect button is greyed out or does nothing

Reading logs needs WebSerial, which only works in Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Opera, Brave, Arc) on a desktop. If you are on Safari or Firefox, open this page in Chrome or Edge instead.

"No device found" in the picker

Make sure the USB-C cable carries data (not just power — some cables are charge-only). Also close any other program holding the serial port — the Arduino IDE, a terminal running idf.py monitor, or another browser tab with this page open.

Nothing appears in the log

In the console dialog, click Reset to restart the device and capture fresh boot logs. If you still see nothing, unplug and replug the Edge, then click Connect device and Logs & Console again.
